Frugal living is slowly gaining more awareness and emerging as a trend in this pandemic year. If you’ve been living under a rock Frugal Living is found ways to stretch your money so that you can gain financial independence earlier and have the time to do the things that you enjoy.

Many think that frugal living Is just about penny-pinching and living like a hermit and this can’t be further from the truth. Frugal living is a lifestyle choice and has both long-term and short-term benefits.

Let’s debunk some of the myths surrounding frugal living

  1. You will die of boredom

Social media is filled with images of people buying expensive houses, fancy cars, and taking exotic holidays. Some of these people have the surplus money to pay for these and still have some leftover but many of the others are in serious debt. A lot of these images should feature the hashtag #buyersremorse on it as a warning to others. It is easy to get swept away in this world of luxury. If you look you will find many inexpensive ways to entertain yourself and ensure that your life is filled with rich experiences

  1. The money you save is not worth the effort

Many people wait or that windfall from the national lottery or the multiple million-dollar raffles. they spend their entire lives buying to this “my big moment” dream and they keep funding the companies that provide this dream. They feel that the money you save by controlling your expenses pales in comparison. Investing early and allowing your money to grow over time can also lead to that “big moment” when you retire rich. This is a fact there are more investment millionaires that raffle millionaire.

  1. You have to give up on things you love

Frugal living doesn’t mean living the Amish lifestyle. you can own necessitates and certain luxuries. infarct the extra cash that you have saved can help you land a better deal when it comes time to make the purchase. Deals that you cannot get when you have to opt for financing. infarct in some countries you can also enjoy a better internet rate on your loans due to better cred scores

  1. You’re perceived as being cheap

There is a district difference I living a frugal life and begin cheap. Someone who lives in a hotel and then steals their soaps, towels, and bathrobe is cheap…not to mention a thief. Someone who seeks value by using discount sites or opts to fix things at home instead of calling help practices frugal living. don’t get caught up with the labels

  1. It is not possible to save money

We are bombarded by ads as we drive to work, during our music, on our phones as we surf and they all want us to do one thing – buy. Add this advertising to make frugal living harder to do. It takes strong will power and a plan to reach your frugal living goals. it is hard but not impossible. Tips to practice frugal living
